College Hunks Hauling Junk and Moving is hiring a dynamic office manager, office administrator/operations assistant to assume the role of growing a small business through various functions including but not limited to: HR, Administrative tasks, Operations, Customer Service, Scheduling, Sales, Marketing and Community Involvement.

 Job purpose: Oversee day-to-day management of Junk Hauling and Moving operations.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

  1. Maintain schedule and staffing for Hauling Team.
  2. Maintain and perform scheduled hauling estimates not performed by GM.
  3. Maintain and sign off on daily Junk Hauling employee log sheets to be reviewed and approved by GM
  4. Make confirmation calls for all jobs and confirm details.
  5. Calculate daily job revenue and labor costs for Junk Hauling reviewed by GM
  6. Oversee all truck captains and wingmen for Junk Hauling
  7. First point of contact for junk hauling captains and wingmen while on jobs.
  8. Uniform compliance from all junk hauling team members
  9. Oversee truck cleaning and daily yard and garage upkeep
  10. Oversee and maintain metal and paper recycling to be delivered daily. Report daily recovery to GM
  11. Cover weekend management schedule for Junk Hauling
  12. Implement new and on-going training programs necessary for truck captains and wingmen. Train all new junk-hauling employees.
  13. Stay informed as to relevant skill and qualifications levels required by staff for effective performance, and circulate requirements and relevant information to the organization as appropriate.
  14. Manage relevant reporting of management and financial information for the sales and marketing departments to monitor.
Scale indicators:


Employees are on time and properly scheduled for jobs. Weekend schedule of jobs is coordinated, staffed and reported to assistant general manager. Captains and Wingmen are on time for morning role call and all ensuing jobs Junk Hauling labors costs remain below 23% monthly goal. 100% compliance of captains and wingmen.


 
 Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

     2. Maintain and perform scheduled Moving estimates.
     3. Sign off on daily Junk Hauling and Moving employee log sheets to be reviewed and approved by GM.
     4. Calculate daily job revenue and labor costs for Junk Hauling and Moving reviewed by GM.
     5. Oversee all truck captains and wingmen for Moving and Junk Hauling.
     6. Uniform compliance for all.
     7. Assist team in opening and closing day.
     8. Complete and distribute schedules for Junk Hauling and Moving Management.
     9. Oversee truck maintenance.
   10. Perform and complete Moving financial reports to be reviewed by GM.
   11. Implement new and on-going training programs necessary for Junk Hauling and Moving captains and wingmen.
   12. Train all new moving employees.
   13. Stay informed as to relevant skill and qualifications levels required by staff for effective performance, and circulate requirements and              relevant information to the organization as appropriate. Manage relevant reporting of management and financial information for the                sales and marketing departments to monitor.

Scale indicators:
 
Moving employees are on time and properly scheduled for jobs. Weekend schedule of jobs is coordinated. Management is properly trained and in full company compliance. Morning role call and all ensuing jobs for Moving and Junk Hauling  labors costs remain below 23% monthly goal. Obtaining companies monthly revenue and profit goals. |  
Compensation: $30,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
