About the Role: The Director of Procurement & Vendor Relations leads enterprise-wide vendor strategy to drive cost efficiency, revenue generation, and franchisee value. This role is responsible for developing a scalable, high-performing vendor ecosystem that delivers competitively priced, high-quality products and services while supporting brand standards and long-term growth.

This leader owns vendor selection, contract negotiations, rebate and revenue-share programs, and forecasting, while also overseeing vendor onboarding, education, sponsorships, and network adoption. The role partners closely with Finance, Operations, Marketing, and Franchise Leadership to ensure procurement and vendor initiatives directly impact profitability, quality, and franchise success.

What You’ll Do (Responsibilities of the Role)

Vendor Strategy & Financial Impact

· Develop and execute procurement and vendor strategies that balance cost, quality, service, and scalability.

· Own rebate, profit-sharing, and vendor revenue programs, ensuring accurate forecasting and profitability.

· Forecast vendor-related income and identify new revenue-generating opportunities.

· Drive cost reductions while improving product and service quality across the network.

Vendor Selection & Contract Management

· Lead RFPs, competitive bidding processes, and vendor evaluations to secure best-value partnerships.

· Identify, vet, negotiate, and onboard vendors aligned with brand standards and operational needs.

· Negotiate contracts that deliver long-term value, favorable pricing, and performance accountability.

Franchise & Network Enablement

· Standardize procurement policies and ensure compliance across the franchise system.

· Oversee vendor onboarding, product testing, and pilot programs to support system-wide scalability.

· Collaborate cross-functionally to promote vendor success stories and best practices.

Leadership & Influence

· Build strong, mutually beneficial vendor partnerships rooted in trust and accountability.

· Influence internal stakeholders and franchisees through data-driven insights and clear communication.

· Lead a self-funded or revenue-positive vendor management function.

What You Bring (Experience Needed for the Role)

· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Operations, or a related field.

· 5–7+ years of experience in procurement, vendor management, sourcing, or strategic partnerships.

· Required: Experience supporting a franchise or multi-unit business with $250M+ in system-wide sales.

· Demonstrated success in:

o Rebate programs, profit-sharing, and vendor-driven revenue generation

o Driving down costs while improving quality and service levels

o Negotiating complex, high-value contracts

· Strong financial acumen with experience in forecasting, margin improvement, and cost analysis.

· Proven ability to influence without authority; tactful, confident communicator.

· Strategic thinker with a hands-on, results-driven mindset.

· Highly organized, adaptable, and focused on continuous improvement.

· Proficiency in MS Office and project management tools (Asana, Trello).

· Experience with ERP/vendor systems (SAP, Oracle, Coupa) preferred.

· Familiarity with marketing tools (Canva, Adobe Suite) a plus.
