 About the Role:
The Manager of Vendor Partnerships plays a critical role in optimizing all vendor relationships, driving cost efficiencies, and ensuring franchisees have access to high-quality, competitively priced products and services. This position is responsible for vendor selection, contract negotiation, revenue forecasting, pricing analysis, vendor education, and systemizing new vendor onboarding processes. Additionally, the Manager of Vendor Partnerships oversees sponsorships, manages vendor engagement at company events, and supports new franchisees with vendor program onboarding and education.
 
Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities: 
  • Vendor Management & Relationship Building – Identify, vet, and onboard new vendors, manage relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with franchise standards.
  • Procurement & RFP Management – Lead and execute Request for Proposals (RFPs) to identify and secure the best vendor partnerships that align with cost efficiency and quality standards.
  • Revenue Forecasting & Cost Efficiency – Track vendor revenue-sharing agreements, ancillary income opportunities, and forecast expectations while implementing strategies that maximize profitability and drive overall revenue growth for the brand and franchisees.
  • Project & Program Oversight – Lead pilot programs, vendor onboarding, and product testing to ensure seamless implementation of new partnerships.
  • Marketing & Education – Develop vendor education programs, promotional campaigns, and marketing materials to enhance franchisee adoption.
  • Operational Support & Compliance – Manage fleet ordering, franchisee product pricing, and vendor compliance with brand guidelines.
  • Event & Sponsorship Management – Oversee vendor engagement at company events, including sponsorships and vendor hall management.
  • Performance Evaluation & Continuous Improvement – Conduct ongoing vendor performance assessments, leveraging buying power for pricing optimization while continuously identifying opportunities for process enhancements and efficiency gains. Evaluate, select, and periodically reassess vendor partners based on the following criteria:
     
    • Industry-leading or “most favored nation” pricing to ensure the most competitive rates 
    • Top-tier rebates, revenue-sharing agreements, and event sponsorship contributions. 
    • High-quality products, services, and customer support that align with our brand’s commitment to excellence. 
Qualifications: 
·          Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Operations, or a related field.
·          Minimum of 5 years of experience in successfully managing and scaling vendor partnerships.
·          Experience within a Franchise System is strongly preferred.
·          Proven expertise in procurement, contract negotiation, vendor relationship management, and revenue share accounting.
·          Strong track record of leading internal teams and driving vendor program success.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
  • Advanced project management and analytical abilities.
  • Excellent communication, public speaking, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Experience with marketing, graphic design, and promotional activities (Canva, Photoshop, Adobe preferred).
  • Ability to drive continuous improvement in vendor partnerships. 
Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello).
  • Experience with vendor management platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is a plus.
