JOB TITLE:
As a College Hunks Hauling Junk and Moving SLC Sales Coach, you will play a vital role in onboarding and coaching new hires, as well as assisting inbound and outbound sales teams in achieving and exceeding their targets. In addition to your coaching responsibilities, you will be responsible for taking sales calls during periods of high call volume. This position reports directly to a Sales Manager.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Develop and implement comprehensive training programs for new hires, covering sales techniques, product knowledge, objection handling, and customer service excellence.
· Provide ongoing coaching and support to sales representatives across multiple teams, helping them improve their sales skills, meet targets, and maintain a high level of customer service.
· Assess and evaluate the performance of sales agents, using data and metrics to track progress, identify areas for improvement, and offer constructive feedback.
· Collaborate with new hires and sales representatives to set and monitor sales targets, providing guidance and motivation to help them achieve and exceed these goals.
· Take sales calls during downtime to assist with incoming inquiries and maintain a strong understanding of our sales operations. Serve as an example of effective sales techniques.
· Streamline and enhance sales processes within the call center, making recommendations for improvements and adjustments as needed.
· Maintain records of coaching sessions, training materials, and performance evaluations to track progress and improvements over time.
· Provide regular reports to management on the progress and success of coaching programs, including key performance metrics and recommendations for improvement.
· Keep up-to-date with industry trends, sales techniques, and product knowledge to ensure that coaching strategies are aligned with the latest best practices.
REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in sales coaching and training, ideally in a call center or sales environment.
- Experience with inbound and outbound sales.
- Strong knowledge of sales techniques, call center operations, and customer service.
- Analytical and data-driven mindset with the ability to use metrics for performance evaluation.
